Broome Manor Golf Club is a fully affiliated golf club to the English & Wiltshire Golf Union, the English Ladies Golf Association & the Wiltshire Ladies Golf Union. This means that members of Broome Manor with a Handicap, are eligable to play on nearly every golf course in Great Britain. The Wiltshire Golf Union provide an excellent facility to its members by the means of a county card. For a small fee, card holders can play up to 21 courses in Wiltshire. It is based at the Broome Manor Golf Complex which is owned by the Swindon Borough Council who are responsible for Course Management, Green Fees and Tee Time Reservations. The club is proud to have 4 international players, one of whom holed the putt that won the Walker Cup in September 1995 and has active Mens, Ladies, Seniors and Junior sections. There are around 50 competitions run during the year, all of which are open to most members at normally no additional cost. The club also plays friendly matches, for all handicap levels, against other clubs in Wiltshire on a home and away basis and takes part in the more formal Mens and Juniors Wiltshire Leagues. Several social events are held throughout the year, formal and informal, ranging from a dinner dance to quiz nights. Many of these events are free and are open to members and their families. We cater for all players from novices to the experienced golfer.
