Bowood Golf and Country Club lies in the western corner of 'Capability' Brown's 2,000 acre Great Park. Bowood offers a combination of beautiful surroundings, a magnificent course, excellent service and catering, and state of the art facilities. The club opened in 1992 after a five year development programme and covers 250 acres of the Park. In accordance with his brief, Dave Thomas designed a course which can be enjoyed by all levels of golfer, from the occasional player to the experienced professional.
